First produced in 1989, this rich and complex sweet wine is made with dried Muscat of Alexandria grapes. It comes from the volcanic soils of Pantelleria Island, in the south-west of Sicily. Ben Ryé means “son of the wind” and refers to the strong currents affecting the island.
