Havlabari Cellars is named after Havlabar, a neighbourhood of old Tbilisi, Georgia, which has been the centre of art, culture and wine trade since the 11th century.
Rkatsiteli is an indigenous grape variety. Late ripening and resistant to cold weather, it is also grown further afield in Russia and China, as well as in New York State.
